Thank you for all the fantastic pictures sent in for the the competition. The theme for the competition was to capture the ideas of 'Fellowship', 'Taking a break' and 'That didn't turn out like I expected'.
The jury is now facing the difficult - but fun! - task of going through all of the pictures from Fjällräven Classic 2009. The winners will be announced on the website on October 15

The demand for was high when the registration period for Fjällräven Classic 2010 officially opened - almost 300 people applied almost immediately. Fjällräven Classic is limited to 2,000 participants and is divided into 8 start groups over a period of 3 days. Many people took the opportunity to guarantee that they will be placed in a group that starts on the first day.

-It is fantastic to see such incredible interest in Fjällräven Classic 2010, applications are steadily streaming in and. Traffic on our new website has also reached record levels," says Andreas Josefsson, Fjällräven.

The ambition of the new website is provide an accurate and inspirational overview of the entire event, from start to finish. You will find information about how to prepare for the trek to which equipment you will need and how to pack your backpack most efficiently. Click on 'The trek' to find a detailed description of each leg of the journey from Nikkaluokta to Abisko. Fjällräven has engaged the services of journalist and photographer Håkan Wike to write a series of articles based on the experiences of Fjällräven Classic's many fascinating participants.
