Men’s jackets: Boost the life cycle of your down jacket, vest or parka.

It is no secret that a Fjällräven jacket stands the test of time, but there are still things you can do to care for your parka jacket, men’s vest or winter coats at home.
For example, if your jacket is made of G-1000 fabric, you can treat it with Greenland Wax to increase its water repellence and long-term durability.
You can also store your jacket properly in a dry, well-ventilated space protected from sunlight and heat during the off-season to ensure it is in good shape each year.
You can also repair your jacket rather than buying new. For instance, to patch tears in men’s vests or men’s winter coats filled with down, all you need are an adhesive patch and scissors. Simply push the feathers back in, cut the patch a size a little bigger than the tear. Round the corners of the patch and attach while holding the jacket as flat as possible. Easy!
