- Cold, windy and far, far, far away
from home

Tomorrow it is time. We have waited for such a long time and finally we have arrived to the arctic region of Norway, Sweden and Finland that is called Nordkalotten. Far north of the Arctic Circle and to a place called Signaldalen, the starting point of Fjällräven Polar.

Late Night Update! 23:10

Marketing Manager Jerry Engström presents the event.

Yesterday the 20 participants got used to their clothing and today they were introduced to their other equipment like the Akka Endurance Tent, the Fjällräven Polar Sleeping bag (with a comfort temperature of -30c) and their OmniLite kitchen from Primus.

Last but not least they were introduced to their best friends for the coming days – the hardworking Alaskan Huskies. In total 180 Alaskan Huskies will be active during the journey and the majority of these dogs are from the legendary Kenth Fjellborg´s kennel.

Tomorrow the 330 kilometres adventure will start. It will be cold, windy and dark. They will be far, far, far away from their homes travelling across the arctic tundra on their dog sleds.
